Ok im having a massive problem with my cars audio atm. Iv just installed my new head unit into her and changed the front speakers to sony so im running sonys all round with a JBL sub, was working perfect till suddenly all vocal audio started to skip evn on the radio then suddenly cut out so i only had bass running thgrough the sub?
secondly my front right speaker and my rear left speaker wont work but iv swapped all the speakers around now and they all work 100% apart from when they are in the front right and rear left :S
any ideas people?

I reckon the front right and rear left problems just down to some wires coming loose. Could either be loose wires near the speakers, or lose wires at the plug into the back of the headunit. As youve just swapped your headunit then id guess youve knocked the cables for the rear left and front right speaker out when you were changing the plugs around.
Pull it out and check them all. I think the speaker wires are

Sony stereo? It's f*cked! Haha
If I'm understanding you right, it does sound like your head units given up. Can you borrow a mates to test?

grab a old speaker that works and test all the speaker wires are giving sound seperatly..if they do its just a wireing prob as iv had it in the past that the fault only occurs with all speakers connected but not when singley. try it

That's a HU problem then mate. All the speaker wires go directly to the HU singly.

Just spent an hour trying to fix this. Looks like is loose connections at the speaker end/door looms. Semi fixed it by removing the 2 front speakers, then the rear ones worked. Typical 306!
