Edit: Now I'm onto another Mercedes I thought I'd just continue this thread but on the new Merc, seeing as this is a 306 forum I don't want to keep starting threads for old German crap!
Well, after looking at seemingly every single pre-1993 car for sale in the world, I finally have a retro barge...
The view from the bridge, with the 3-pointed crosshair...
So, 1993 190E 1.8 manual, in brown and pretty much pov spec. Full MB history, 125k, original Blaupunkt Atlanta radio cassette, 40mm lowered on embarrassingly small AMG reps, full MOT and 6 months tax, gave £700 for it.
AMG bitch!
Pressed German show plates...
The captains chair...
Pimpin' Blaupunkt tape deck y0!
Plans? 17 inch AMG Monoblocks, maybe more lows, cruise around looking like a baaaaaaad motherfucker...

I love 190, but am always amazed how povvo the base models look compared to the Cosworths. Totally chalk and cheese!

Epic retro pimp wagon, very tasty. Might look a bit out of place on the stand at FCS though!

About time you joined the retro club liam! you have been after one of these for a while tho haven't you?
a ex work mate, has had two of these, he swore by them. I am not sure if the car is still in the local scrappy, as my mate clocked in the local yard some years ago. His was an F plater, I can always check if its still there liam if you need any bits, and I can post them down to you or we could meet up and swop cash for bits.

To be honest I love it how it is, I'd love a Cosworth but you can't pick them up for hundreds

It is possibly the slowest car I've ever owned, although I think it might be a bit quicker with this missfire sorted.

I'll park it at the back with the Meganes
Then again, I'm still looking for a 205 so might have a 205 as well, if so I'll come in that.

Thanks for the offer mate. It's fine for now, just needs some new plug leads which I'll buy new, but let me know if you see one with a Cosworth kit...

Yeah it will be. So far I've done 80 miles on a quarter of a tank, and if that works out to 320 miles on a tank I'll be happy. Apparently I should get mid to high 20s round town, mid 30s on a run, maybe as much as 40 on a long run at 60-65. It's proper long geared so 60 is only 2k in 5th.

got no chance in finding one with a cosworth kit on I am afraid, I wonder if North east motor salvage might have a 190e in, as they sometimes keep the older mercs in.
you may have to an ebay session,
steve, I have said it before, its all about the weight, the car needs to lose a lot of ballast.
