Hi all, you may have seen my thread about losing faith in MYA and debating the scrapyard. I have discussed the jobs with ozonehostile (Zac) and my car is booked in with him on the 05/04/14.
The jobs to do : -
- Cambelt/waterpump/tensioner/bosch conversion
- replace a pair of p-bushes - berlingo ones
- check the front brakes as they vibrate, checked and the discs had small runout, so will also check caliper runners to see if they are sticking/requires regreasing.
- change a pair of front wings
- change the side skirts
- weld up the 5dr rust hole on the rear passenger arch/pillar - can you speak to your mate andf get a price etc?
- fit twin optic stalk - hopefully getting one from Dumdum via the cheddar meet
- maybe other small jobs
If Zac and myself would really appreciate some spare pairs of hands to get the multiple jobs done, i could offer treats but i'm not sure what people would like?
With the above jobs done i will be back to loving MYA and not contemplating scraping her
List of willing hands: -
Devils_fuel
ozonehostile
Meet details: -
Location - Hereford - i will let zac post or PM these
Time - TBC but early as poss

For those looking, a rough postcode to work off is HR2 9AS
located about 30 miles from the m50, pretty easy to get to from there or the m5

I'm hoping to get my gti6 on the road this week, so it could be a good run out for it.

Lol! /eyesfail.
Ok that should be fine, I can almost certainly bring some suitable scrap metal too. Might be worth finding someone else to do the shaping if you want it to look pretty though lol.

Ha ha hard day at work?
It's the inside of the pillar where the upper seat belt bolts to the car, so it's hidden by the interior plastics - the common inner arch 5dr rot I have a full plastic arch liner to fit
Do you have a small amount of under seal to seal it, by any chance?
