First time its happend had to oull the carpet back and pull the cable. Is it hard to replace?

Has the cable snapped then? If so, not hard to replace at all, just runs along to the wheel arch inside the car under the carpet, then out to the clip.

It is a bit of a bind not being able to open it. I think it is the same cable on all models. Easy to change. I have one should you need it.

isnt there a manual release for it in the boot?... i seem to remember having a similar issue and having to pop a lever in the boot every time i put a deep sea divers worth in .. ha!

Never seen a release in any of the boots on my 306's. and i have stripped afew
TD04 11mm Sedan, now 2.1 vnt
