Misleading thread title gigiddy :p
Right i plan on building up my 11mm pump tomorrow, i have already stripped the transit pump down so i know what to expect, gave me a chance to break shit and make a mess etc. I just wanted to know if theres any bits i need to be particularly careful with? Any bits that are easier done this way than that? And more importantly any mods i could do whilst its completely apart? Im doing a full reseal aswell not just putting the 11mm head on. So yeah any hints tips etc would be a great help

Not on yet, only just finished putting it together, want to get it checked before i stick it on, then it'll be new cambelt and tensioners and pump all at once. Its just an old o ring not a spacer, had me worried for a bit!

Make sure you got a decent torx bit set i had to go buy a new one cos i chewed up a cheapy, needle nose pliers and a smaller jewelers flat head screw driver for digging off o rings.

Lol, well i have access to numerous torx bit sets, probably all as cheap as each other, but whatever. Also got a precision screwdriver set, so that should be useful for the o rings.

Tom did you keep everything lubed as you assembled? And did you fil it with derv before you put the top back on? Only say because if you build them dry the vanes will literally stick within days..!
Looking good though, could have at least fully cleaned the casing though while it was apart!!
