Well, I've sourced myself a decent set of these, so I'm pondering whether to go for them or not. They're pretty rare, only ever seen them on 1 306 (and that was a phase 1), was wondering if anyone had any pictures?

I've done a quick photoshop (this file actually has about 15 sets of compatible wheels on it, some more unusual than others, but my paranoia when it comes to people stealing my ideas means I wont be showing those off Wink ), but you can't beat proper pictures when it comes to picking wheels.

Opinions?

Yours is the car I'm talking about, as you probably guessed Tongue

Might try and haggle 'em down a bit further and bag them, got some interesting colour plans that I'm thinking about, too.

Oh really? You test fitted them at all? I'm not too bothered because yours is another phase 1. What did you pay for yours, if you don't mind me asking?

Also, what spacers are you planning to use?

Yeah 283's off a 307. I have some 266's off a xsara that might get fitted once the 283's are worn out. Least I can fit some 15" alloys then.

pffft it clears it doesn't it? . . . . what's the issue? . . .i'm going to be popping some over 283's anyway . Smile

Are you running GTI6 283's?

I think I didn't run them as the 307 caliper has a different design (iirc talking to chris) and was a little close for comfort. Even clones over them are pushing it. Whereas on a 6 clearance is fine.

If they turn, they clear Smile

I had to move the wheel weights on the 205 speedlines to get them to clear 6 brakes on the zx, I think there was about 1mm clearance in the end :p

Not as bad as 266s on Harriers.

I scraped all the mud and crud off the inside of the wheel... They're that tight.

Some of the 307 calipers have 10mm more backspacing on them so you get shitloads of wheel clearance, that's what I'm running.

Anyone got any pictures of these on a 3-door Ph.1?
