It's usually 20 years Piggy, so the earliest ones are close. My green XRDT was March 1993 so I bet that would have been a contender...

Also bear in mind it's not just when it hits a certain age it automatically becomes 'Classic' Insurance.
Some of the other factors are it would need to be a second car (Ie. You can prove that you own and drive an every day car in addition to your classic car), limited mileage, and also a classic type risk. Ie. A car that is considered to be a classic. Now I couldn't say whether or not a 306 would be, I wouldn't imagine so yet as there are still plenty around, it's usually the rarer type cars that are considered 'Classic'

I'd prefer an older car there much easier to loom after and when something goes wrong there's simple ways to find out
