So there yesterday my 406 started to overheat and coolant lightt was coming on... HEad gasket to be done! .... Aaand today, i took the 306 out for the first time in ages and white smoke followed overheating occured... with massive boiling and pressure in the coolant. this definately the head gasket?

Instant pressurising of the cooling system has to be the head gasket.
worst case would be cracked head or block.

Is it diesel?
Was going to suggest taking out a plug and looking down the bore for signs of water. but you can't with a NAD lol
