Running like crap

Right iv changed the engine in my 6 to a dt running a t25 and a gov modded 9mm it ran ok until i took it for a spirited drive now its running asif the timings out.

iv had the covers off and locked everything slipped belt off and pulled it back round checking that the slack is round the tensioner beneath the cam and still shit, iv tried advancing the pump and still shit.

Could it be the gov mod causing this issue as when doing it i snapped the first cradle inside the pump but couldnt be arsed to fish it out as when i put it back together it ran fine,

i literally drove it half a mile the fuel cut out as if the car stalled and its been running like that since

Yeah that cradle has probably been ground to shit and filled your pump and injectors with swarf. You have a big expensive mess under your bonnet.
