Yeah my mate is friends with a guy that works there, he's dropping it over for me as well! I'm going to paint it as well in the hope it'll last a bit longer

I don't know something decent that will protect it a bit maybe high temp stuff, maybe some hammerite or something like that.

Painting exhausts generally seems a waste of time, even the high temp stuff seems to just flake / cook in no time, stinking / looking a mess. Ceramic coating is only real way.

My exhaust was mild steel and started to surface rust as it had no protection.
I was recommened this: BBQ Paint Seems to of held up for the last 100 miles. and before someone says you haven't driven it hard enough to get it up to temp....I stuck it into telegraph hill at full chat
I've had bits of baffle and soot glowing orange shooting out the back of my exhaust lol, thanks for you reccomendation Mark!
Edit, looked at the link after replying, fail, bbq paint is a fantastic idea!!

I can see it/touch it right off the turbo though and it seems to be holding up. Its not a glossy finish just a matt type one.

Is it just me or is this getting all a bit techy? What happened to bodging old bits of pipe together till it fits :p

How come 205s have a 60 degree bend and the 306 has a 45 degree one?

I dont know, maybe it depends on how your turbo sits?
