Noticed while reversing earlier that my light is intermittent.
If I put it in reverse and push the gear lever forward a tad, as though to take it out of reverse, the light illuminates.
If im just slapping it in normally (all the way in, giggidy) then the light doesnt work?
Lose wire, worn switch, or dud sensor? Any ideas pleasseeee

any help guys, really starting to bug me now. Completely off, seems the only way to get it to come on is to drive a bit quick down my driveway and it comes on?

Check the plug is fully in...
Might be a failing switch though, although I cant remember ever hearing of one failing on a 306 so its not common.

You'll need to remove the airbox to see it iirc, has a grey plug, just under the clutch arm.
