cornflake box!
Sorry should have been more specific, off the dw10 engine, ive used the 406 I let for an intercooler install and want a gasket for it as itd be a boost leak hot spot
Was thinking that cully, easiest option lol!

Tbf it is in the hdi section lol.
As cully says tbh. Besides, it's exactly the same as the 306 one, hence why the elbow is a direct fit.

I did have a look but didnt find it, tapatalk isnt search friendly either so a quick question and a quick reply didnt seem like much hassle to me or anyone else for that fact.
And yeah I knew it was the same but I'd like to replace it as theres already oil mist around it, the question was where could I get one except peugeot

That was aimed at Jonny, didn't mean you should have searched.
I completely misread that, my bad, erm motor factors? That join leaks from the factory as far as i can tell.
Sorry thought that was aimed at me, I checked fmic threads etc and only seen 'inlet gasket'... No part # or anything and my ebay search only returned the actual inlet mani gasket lol.
Mum said she'll make one, have blanking plates en route for the egr valve too itl be getting sacked off! Im guessing pro steve can map the EML light off if its completely removed? Yeah hopefully I can eliminate that as no point spending out on a fmic setup to leak air there

Do you want the inlet gasket (as youve asked for) or the L-bend/elbow gasket as it seems like your talking about?
I'm sure someone will find you the part number then you can try ebay.
Yeah the elbow, surely we're not going to argue about me calling it an inlet gasket?
It is indeed an inlet, air intake, intake elbow, whatever you want to call it. I didnt specify the inlet manifold gasket and said about a fmic install, even you were able to put 2 and 2 together

Theyve seemed to sting me for everything else, that seems reasonable lol! Going to make one and maybe go order one too, see which is better lol, imsure some instant gasket may well help too...

They are like 'high temperature' parts aren't they, wont need those surely with no heat coming in? Am I right lol
24-10-2013, 07:10 PM
put them up as people could make blank plates with them as templates
Ah fair enough, I was going to make blank plates but I thought for cnc made ones, in stainless I cant complain lol! Knowing me mine wouldnt have a straight edge.
Jobs a good'n cheers for the inspiration cully

Haha nah you seem to be fairly capable of using that grey stuff in your head before asking questions, could do with chilling out a bit though lol. :p
Removing the egr won't trigger the eml, it will log a silent code, but pro_steve can map that out for you, as you surmise.
24-10-2013, 08:28 PM
Ahhh really? Thats good, happy about that, a constant eml would annoy me thats all
Dont f'in tell me to chill |
