Couple of pictures from Retro rides start of the month
No updates to the car, but I have bought a ph2 dt for the engine, front brake set up, interior etc and also bought some 206 front coilovers so I can bring the front down a bit more!

Ok so a little bit of progress with this.
Last weekend I fired the old nad motor up for the last time. Started first time after being stood for months. Perhaps it should have stayed in?
Anyway it's out now, and is awaiting its new xantia DHX heart.
While the engine is out I'm doing the following (with a bit of help from James)
Changed track rod ends
New front wheel bearings and ball joints
New rear wishbone bush
Brand new pro sport coilovers for a 206 with brand new top mounts
Rear axle swap for one from a 2001 c15 van
Kia Sedona full leather front seats
Xantia straight through with home brew backbox
Rebuild 9mm bosch with gov mod and custom LDA
14x7 et19 Weller race wheels with 165/65/14 tyres (but of stretch)
247mm vented front brake upgrade from a 306
Roof bars
Couple of issues I'm facing at the moment are that I'm expecting clearance issues between inlet manifold and master cylinder. I'm hoping the xantia manifold will clear but if not will need to get handy with the grinder (unless the original nad manifold might fit)
The rear axle needs re-lowering post mot which will be fun cutting the rear springs whilst under tension. (Did the same on my c15)
Exhaust clearance issues with the gear rods
I'm going to attempt to fit the full xantia rad/cooler pipe work setup.
Hoping to be on the road mid to late April!
