Can i run my lucas pump on veg oil. Turned up the fuel pump and turned up the turbo can i still run my car on veg oil on my lucas pump and if so what veg oil is the best to use?? crisp and dry tesco value oil ?? and do i need to pre mix it??

No it will perish the seals on the pump. Try and gather a Bosch setup far superior

You'll get away with a light mix, maybe 25-30% but for how long is another question

I know of a Lucas car that has been running veg as well as old engine oil and anything else lying around.

Who here knows anyone who's actually had a Lucas pump fail on them while running veg? I would just swap to a Bosch anyway

Ran my c15 on everything and anything and that's was on a nad Lucas pump

mine was actually a mates 1.5nad.
we had a bosch...thought would see how long a lucas would last/if it was a myth.
50mile later we realised it wasnt a myth

A lot of people do say no to this, however my boss had a 405 straight-D with a Lucas pump and he ran it on chip fat oil for over a year with no problems?
