just seen a 306Dt in manchester for £cheap£, in white, mot and tax, but he says it's pressurising the coolant - may need headgasket 
so if it is i'd have no real way to get it here, and then theres the issue of the 1.4, and what do do with that, i've just bought a load of parts for it to get it through the MOT... Sigh why do these cars pop up when i least need temptation?
