Have a standard dturbo here, when it's started it makes a noise kind of similar to the noise of air escaping from a tyre it's hard to explain, it does it for a few seconds then stops for a few seconds over and over. Anyone have any ideas what it is? I can get a video later if no one understands the noise thanks

good to know where its coming from...have you lifted bonnet and had a look/listen?

Yeah hard to pinpoint the noise really, what runs on the auxiliary belt that could make that sort of noise?
