Best standard fit front coax speakers ph 1

Hi all, took the door card off on the drivers side of my gti 6 to sort window out to find that most of the cone of my speaker is no longer attached to its basket. So new speakers time, I'm after a pair of direct fit speakers which don't involve cutting the door or door card that happily run off an aftermarket hu. Any recommendations?

Just had a thought and was wondering if the phase 3 mirror covers with tweeters built in will fit my phase 1? If they do then I could go with components

Exactly what I done mate. They fit no problem and to be fair. How often do you need to adjust your mirrors lol
And even if you do.. Roll down the window and move it with your hand :-)

I have Vibe ED306's and for the money they're not to bad at all.
Most people reccomend fli comp6's

Do they fit phase 1s though, they look more curvy at the bottom so not sure they'll blend in with the door cards
