Stainless exhaust system

I got a stainless exhaust system 2 and half inch all the way to the cat. I got a bit of the downpipe which joins the middle section 2 and half inch to 2 and 1/4 inch.

I know the standard hdi and xud cats are not 2 and half inch joning the middle section. So what size are they?

Also do the hdi and xud both fit middle section and back boxes to each other?

I want to find all this out because I have got a hdi and it was from a xud you see.

Standard hdi is 2" I think. I think the fitment to the cat is different between them tbh. May be wrong though
