Picked up a strut brace and leguna splitter yesterday. Fitted strut brace gave it a blow over in silver but nothing great as needs a propa strip back and paint but its there for function not for looks
Put splitter on scrapes on every bump So not sure how long it will last till it gets ripped off Plus im not sure if i like it or not so would like your opinions?? What you guys think? In other news im going down the turbo 1.5 route, picking up a t2 turbo of pugmarshall at pugfest gonna start collecting bits to get it done think it will be slow progress but will get it done eventually. Been e-mailing cg clutch people and they say they could custom make a 5 paddle clutch to take the extra power/toque for £250 so defo will be looking in to that once it is turbo'ed. Comments welcome

kinda like it with and without . . .either way looking good fella . .
Phase 1 D-Turdo, K14@24 psi, De-cat, meaty backbox, Bosch pump, grinded LDA pin, duel air fed K&N =133.7bhp & 188ft/lbs

I can't make my mind up about the splitter lol
What did cg say they could rate the clutch to hold? Torque wise I mean Member of the 99% warning or you're nothing club

I reckon the splitter makes it look kinda busy at the front, i quite like the clean look it's got now.
03-07-2013, 03:27 PM
no splitter.
be watching this closely with the turbo route... the clutch is the weak point. shame it cost so much though. its why I still going down xud9 route with the mrs 106. 150bhp no worries for min money Wishes for more power...

Nice, that should work nicely. I've got a second hand 4 paddle sprung clutch that used to be used on the cup cars, no idea what it's rated to tho, guess I'll find out when I get the new engine in lol

split decision on the splitter with you guys lol, Keeping it for now but i am unsure about it my self will see how i get on.
Gave it a clean and wax agin today looking well, just need to get tidying it up ready for pugfest wish i had a better interior but doubt i will get one in time
So bit of an update picked these billy bargains up yesterday im over the moon with them, There in near mint condtion apart from the slight cracking of the leather on the drivers seat no rips or tares. Any way pics
(there not marks on the center just the material goes different when you brush it the other way) So just gave them a good clean with the vax, sat on the back drying at the min might be in today if there dry in time should be in this sun. Just need to sort out some door cards so i can get rid of the horrid pattern. As for the leguna splitter its coming off asap its getting me to much attention every time i go near a bump scraps like fook every one is turning around lol so its going not sure when cos carnt be ased to lay under car hopefully a bump will rip it off for me save me doing it Comments welcome

You want a coin tray gear surround thing from a s2 now. And door cards.
Looking real smart dude.

this is really coming together!
I personally prefer the front without the splitter
Diablo Hdi Dturbo and 205 1.9 project - it lives!
