Well owned the car (Named Pepper) since June 2007 and been with the club-306 since then really
Thought i would pop over and say howdie as you guys seem to have some rather interesting projects going on
anyway just a little history some you may have seen some maybe not
Bought her for £950 with 132000 on the clock
First day i owned her she got a proper clean and looking the best she has ever looked
within a few months of owning her i saved for my 17" wolfrace prospints coming lockers also i bought a set of spax vsx springs dampers and rear damper with a 40mm drop
within 24hr's the rear passenger wheel decided to over take me at 30mph
which you can imagine didn't best please me
anyway long story short the garage that fitted them forked out for the replacement
several years down the line i eventually got myself some "track" wheels and fitted toyo proxes to her which have haven't but the 17"'s haven't seen the car since woops ha ha
to this
shes been through Europe several times a 1600mile road trip for my 21st
Nurburgring twice and never fails to put a smile on my face
some of you may have seen a cloud over donnington last year or castle Combe early this year
Some more picture whoreage
Castle Combe
Nurburgring 1st Year
2nd Year
and how she looks today
now sat on 1770000
Too much to say to be honest alot has gone on with her
well put it this way she practically owns my wallet ha ha
Thanks
Ben

I initially liked the 17"s although i realize now that there are plenty more standard rims that look awesome like the 406/206 16" nimrod in gunmetal or 205 speedlines
but i quite fancy money no object speedline sl434

If its the rallye in you avatar i think you will be hunted down with a pitch fork for ruining a unique oem 306 ha ha any other rallye though go for it

Forgive me farther for i have sinned.
Derv will be no longer running through my veins within the next couple of weeks
The day has come where my interest and investment in Pepper can no longer proceed. As she has got to the point where she needs a new heart and a respray or wrap before i am happy with her, which in my eyes she is worth it and i would love to but i think its time to move on.
I have pickup up a replacement car already although it doesn't compare at all to the dturbo for example the dt handles extremely well in comparison and picks up speed so much quicker which was kind of expected. But i just want to be able to go out in the mornings and not have to pray to the car gods every time i want her to start or not overheat.
Although its a shame as i have already invested so much money into her just to give up, plus with 11months mot and tax its a kick in the nads to be honest.
Sorry i haven't been around much recently but i have had alot going on from moving out of my flat to go back to the parents which limits me on space to work on the dt which would have been a major issue. Just generally stressed with family, work, women and feeling like i have lost some independence and freedom with the move.
But all shall be well once i get my self back on track
As for the dturbo unfortunately she will be destined to be on a supermarket shelf near you soon

What's your game then Chris? The poor guy has said that he's scrapping his car, then you come along and tell him it looks good on the lasers. Why you suddenly dragging up all the newbies threads all of a sudden?
