Looks great, I'd be interested to read through a build thread How do you find the extra weight of the 6's engine affected the drive?

as the car started as a 1.4 xs (alloy block) and then put a 1.6 16v 106 engine in there so their was a difference in weight then.
i then decided to put the 2 litre in because the 'be' box is alot stronger and, all the suspension changes etc means it handles ALOT better than it did originally.
i would pop along to a meet or two

I have a itg filter on there that picture was before the last few things was sorted out
Cant remember what car i got it off, as i had serveral diffrent cable linkage setups off diffrent peugeots and citroens and used the setup which was the correct lengh, but had to modify the bracket on top the gearbox to get it to fit which means the shift is shorter!

How less precise do you find it using the cables rather than solid linkages? Or no problems at all?

There is no play in the gear stick atall, and the shift is far smoother than the original rods even with new rods bushes etc

Would love to read the build thread too, looks like a serious piece of kit all in all.
I'm especially interested in the brake pads and rotors (even calipers) you used and how they've got on, is this a everyday car too?
