any recommendations on clay bar for paintwork?
i have used Bilt Hamber stuff before but its a bit contaminated now so needs replacing
but i find it a little hard to work when its cold and takes a while for it to warm up using it with water
so any other makes and a source to look at?

Ive just bought the auto glym clay kit. Not had chance to use it yet. But it comes with rapid detailer small bottle of srp polish cloth and microfiber cloth. Its £25 everywhere but I paid £19

I've used bilt hamber and meguires. Meguires is easier to use but the hamber wins being water based imo

Do you have to use a detailer? Ive been told that some people use soapy water.

with the Bilt Hamber stuff i use water sprayed out of a plant sprayer
different clays will require different lub so read the label

I rate the megs clay kit, but its the only one I've used, so can't really compare against anything
