Hi all, I'll be getting the dturbo mot'd soon but need to replace the windscreen so was wondering; shall I just pay someone to do it or buy some supplies and have a crack at it?!

Just pay someone lol....much easier!
Are you fully comp insurance? If you are it probably covers windscreens and you'd 'only' have to pay about £50 excess.

I asked you if you wanted my windscreen!
It was literally a month old and it's probably been crushed now!

Oh right, well now I feel old haha!
Windscreens aren't exactly cheap if you can't go through insurance though. But yeah, still definitely get someone to do it....at least it'll be properly sealed and wont leak then, and if it does it's gaurantee'd anyway.

Get it done properly. The windscreen is surprisingly structural in the event of an accident so let a pro do it.

I got my windscreen replaced by auto windscreens if I remember correctly. Cost £109 about 1 and half years ago. Pretty good deal I say!

haha, not bad then.
for £109 they came down to my house and fitted the one in and took the old one away.
I did debate on going to the scrappers and getting one for £20.

Massive stone chip. That's why I was in the Tiguan the other day. No one does a pattern windscreen for these so they had to order a Kia one directly from Kim Jong Un him self.
