I've just aquired a scabby caravan, will get some pictures up tomorrow. Providing its water tight I will be going ahead with it. It's a german import so all the sockets are two pin.
Basically I want to do something different with it, I was thinking something along the lines of a chilling/sleeping area. I'll store it up by my workshop and use it on the odd weekend with a BBQ or something.
Some ideas I have for it:
- Quilts/Fabric/Insolation/Whatever I can find nail gunned / staple gunned on all walls
- Camo green, black or muddy brown paint all over (rollers ftw)
- Bean bag
- Double duvey
- Double matress or single dependant on space
- stripped (sledge hammer all the units & kitchen out) but keep toilet
- Sofa on roof
- TV & PC
- Minifridge
- Alloys
Any other ideas? It owes me naff all so can do whatever really.

only problem i could see with putting fabric on the walls would be mould, would end up getting pretty scabby unless you keep it really dry. cool idea though

Mmm, as long as its water tight I can't see it being a problem personally.

A friend of mine has done a similar thing but with a fairly large garden shed and he's not had any issues for years so was hoping a caravan wouldn't be much different.
If its properly insolated then condensation shouldn't be an issue.
