Welllllll. With the valve out it splutters a bit of fuel not mass amounts though. Must be a pressure problem. Is this fixable or a whole new pump?

Banjo bolts in the right way, fuel in has big hole, fuel out has small hole, it's worth a look,

This sounds like the problem I had when I first built my 11mm, it must of been a head fault but it had sat around for about 4 years, just change the head in off it went, maybe the vain pump is partly sized,

This one has been sat for some time,

do you mean the LDA housing or the top of the pump its self (under the LDA housing, where the throttle arm is attached?

You have to strip the pump completely down to free off your vain pump, I mean head as in the bit the injector pipes bolt into on the back of the pump,

As you said you have nothing to loose so you might as well have a go stripping it down. Might as well gov mod it while your there! Just be careful lifting the top off as the governor is attached to the leverset. If you get stuck post up, we are all here to help! Smile

What would happen if say i was to pull it abit hard on the gov? Would it be fooked or saveable? But yeah fook it im going to start ripping it down when i get home tonight and theres no point in me gov modding it. Its only a 20psi T2 daily work horse to lug shit about in and for the mrs to take to work from time to time .

The other way to do it is to remove the throttle arm then gentally tap the throttle shaft down into the pump (once you have removed the 4 allen bolts) this will leave the gov shaft attached. It's always worth gov modding, especially if you are lugging crap about 6krpm ftw!

Hmmm i think i may do that to be safe knowing my luck the shaft is prob tight as fook. Also i havnt got the parts needed to gov it and i just want the thing running ASAP lol
