Hi all 306 Cab
#1
Hi,
I have just rescued a yellow 306 Cab that has been parked up
for 5 years. It fired up no problems but has a very bad petrol leak
(corroded pipe i think) once this is fixed I am going to put it through a test
and then I suspect the fun will start Tongue. It does seem in very good condition
no rust at all on the body (had a full respray before it was parked up)
hood is in good condition and it has black leather interior.
It was in a garage for the first 4 years and then outside for the last one so it does look a little rough at the moment but watch this space.
anyway I expect I will have plenty of questions once I start, I hope that will be ok Blush
Cheers
Mick

Check the rubber pipe at the bottom of the fuel filler pipe (the L shaped one that goes into the fuel tank)

Common problem on petrol 306s! Easy enough to change!

Welcome .

As above its prob the L bend on the fuel tank. Put aload of news paper infront of the drivers rear wheel this should tell you if the leak is there. You can acess it by taking the wheel off and taking out the arch linner.

But yeah nice save mate ThumbsUp i dont think we have any sundance caby's on here at the moment Big Grin

Dear god no.

Why would you want to hear that rattly diesel engine!

If you must go DERV, at least use a HDi

Although, that choice is like wondering if you should cut two of your testicles off or only one.....

Welcome fella Big Grin

Love ph1's but not cabbys, think its because the front isn't smooth like the rest of the lines..like it is with a ph2/3?
