'6 exhaust manifold removal/refitting

Just wondering what methods people have used ? Is the only way engine out or drop the subframe?

take the slam panel & rad out , take gear box & top engine mount off (engine) on troll jacks or a dolly & rock it right forward, still isnt easy but the best your gona get with it still in the car

Subframe off, easiest way. Did it on skank army's xsi

I watched Carl of CGCars do it once, he does it all with the engine on its mounts in the car from above.

For the average man though, it's best approached from underneath.
