Gearbox oil types

I'm about to tackle the driverside driveshaft on a 1.4 ph3 306 tommorow,

Is there a specific gear box oil I should use?

also was gonna top the power steering fluid up too, is there also a specific type I should buy, and is there anyway to drain the power steering fluid?

Any help would be great please!

Go to pug for it, its like 12 quid for 2l and they are the happiest with genuine oil in them
