Having bought a 205 its time for the 306 to go.
I took the car in part exchange for my HDi DTurbo in August 2010 off a guy called Rob who was a member on .net with a broken heater matrix and a rough start up problem. The car was completely standard when I aquired it and the rough start up was soon fixed by replacing the glowplugs for some Bosch Duraterms.
I personally replaced the heater matrix and DarrenJLobb & Ruan were kind enough to convert it to a bosch and did all the cambelt, glowplugs, tensioners, waterpump etc. Over the years I put a straight through exhaust on which I then had to put a cherry bomb onto for legal reasons. The brakes were upgraded to 266's with help from Connor and DevilsFuel. I fitted a custom FMIC kit that I fabricated that uses a modified Xantia inlet (welded up the EGR) and 2.25" piping. The latest upgrade was a rebuilt T25 with 360 thrust bearing off of Dave11.
The car has since had another set of cambelts and tensioners etc as my pump bracket cracked and I had the lot redone at the official Toyota dealership I work for in Weston-Super-Mare.
As far as servicing goes the car has had regular oil changes with genuine Toyota oil at least every 5,000 miles. Had new pads and discs in last 6000 miles, cambelt less than 4000 miles.
At the last MOT only failed on number plates and a wheel bearing both of which were replaced. Only one advisory being a tyre.
General information on the car:
MOT: End of march (can re-ticket for fee)
TAX: Negotiable, has 8+ months left
Milage: 166k
Owners: 6 previous
Service History: full (easily over £3,000 of reciepts)
Project thread: http://306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-1077.html
Location: Somerset/Bristol
Parts on the car: (£550):
- Black Cyclones
- Gov'd/LDA'd Bosch
- T2 & Manual Boost Controller
- Straight through to Cherry Bomb
- 2 X Slim line fans
- 266 Brakes
Lastly I want to thank the following people for helping me over the years to get this car to where it is today, I've definately learnt a lot from it!

In Somerset. Nearest town is Weston-Super-Mare.
No mechanical problems I'm aware of, half tempted to keep it but got too many XUD powered cars I've ended up hoarding!
It's had a lot of money spent on it and I know it's had a good life. I can't see why it won't last another 100k.

What's the paintwork like on this?.. Might be easier swapping all my shinies over to this rather than repainting mine !
On the 306 waiting list.

The paintwork generally is good.
However there are bits that have seen better days, I'll try get some pictures of the bad bits up after the weekend.

Went for a little drive in this today to fine tune the pump on the T2.
Forgot how responsive/nippy these things are on smaller turbos! Lovely to drive, pulls great through the gears, a lot quieter with the air filter back on but seems very torquey! Need to get my 205 up to scratch because I'm tempting myself to keep this!
I can honestly say despite it's quirks someones going to have a cracking car.
Will be putting it on gumtree etc tomorrow, someone in the club must know a friend that wants to join the derv scene!

Right I got some pictures of the bad bits today so any potential buyer can see the faults with the car:
1) Passenger side rear quarter split/scratch.
2) Driver side front wing dent.
3) Below fuel cap, paint cracked.
Willing to take £550 on this now, if it comes round to MOT time before it goes I might have a go at putting it back on a Lucas so I can bump the price down.
