PEUGEOT 306 1.6 MERIDIAN, 2 OWNERS, LOTS OF MONEY SPENT! CAMBELT CLUTCH JUNE MOT
You may ask why I'm selling this car after spending such a great amount on it?
The simple reason for this is that I have had the car for over three years now and I have bought another car. Therefore, I now have two cars. One of which I no longer need.
Anything this car's needed, has been done. It has been serviced every year, despite not even covering enough miles to warrant a service.
There is a comprehensive history on the car.
I even have the original purchase order from 1999 for £12,500.
I have every single MOT certificate, the current MOT runs out mid June 2012.
The official 'Peugeot Servicing Record' has been stamped up until 05/06/2006. The first service being in 1999 at 6037 miles, 2000 at 20,000 miles, 2002 at 34,671 miles, 2003 at 48,817 miles, 70,120 miles at 2006.
During my ownership from January 2010, my history begins. 26/04/10 - Service, timing belt replacement, front brake discs and brake pads replacement. 07/12/10 - Fog-light bulb replacement and tightening of the alternator belt. 06/05/11 - Service and o/s/r wheel bearing replacement. 21/12/11 - New battery. 06/01/12 - 20% dark smoke rear window tint, 5% limo rear passenger window tint and sun-strip professionally fitted. 27/02/12 - Custom exhaust backbox fitted. 08/03/12 - Further 5% limo tint professionally fitted to rear windscreen (now 1%). 31/03/12 - Professionally fitted Sony Bluetooth radio with a remote control, USB, AUX and CD inputs. 10/05/12 - Service. 19/06/12 - De-Cat straight through exhaust fitted (I still have the catalytic converter for the MOT). 09/09/12 - Richbrook aluminium tax disc holder. 24/07/12 - Clutch replacement. 17/09/12 - Front & rear lights professionally tinted. 18/09/12 - Peugeot 17" Challenger alloy wheels (very rare & sought after), 4x tyres 205/40/17 (plenty of tread left) and 20mm rear spacers fitted. 02/11/12 - Bonnet & roof custom gloss black professionally wrapped.
With the straight through exhaust, I would expect a slight increase in horsepower.
In addition, there are:
Uprated headlight bulbs that give it the HID (the white LED sidelights help). Most people think that the lights they are actual HID headlights.
LED numberplate bulbs to give it a white / blue Audi / BMW look.
Please note, these modifications can be removed very easily if you so wish., e.g. Tints, vinyl wrap.
Some specification on the car: Electric windows, electric mirrors, rain sensitive wipers, power steering, driver & passenger air-bags, half leather interior, air conditioning (hasn't been gassed as I do not use it), ABS, remote central locking, alarm & immobiliser.
I have three keys in total. Two with remote central locking capabilities, one without.
As you can see, I have spent well into four figures on this car. It's been carefully looked after, hasn't been ragged about and is in fantastic condition.
There are the usual age related bodywork dinks etc, but nothing too bad at all. There's a slight dent on the offside front wing.
The interior is in very good condition.
The insurance is very reasonable.
Petrol consumption is very good. Even with a small 1.6 litre engine, she still has plenty to give.
