Hello!
I found this forum because of Darren's build thread and i'm still reading the project threads nearly every day so I thought I'd just register on the forum.
When I got my first car I wanted a 306 but after over a month of looking at 306s I decided that it just wasn't going to happen. The cheap ones are all rusted away (lots of salt on the roads in winter over here...) and the good ones are expensive as hell.
So this happened to be my first car:

'99 Mitsubishi Galant, 130000km, 90hp Diesel
It was pretty nice to drive, but I got rid of it because it didn't get an MOT anymore.
So then I was looking for a nice 306 again. I wanted a PH1 5door with an XUD.
I don't know why but it happened again:

So now I'm driving this... VW Bora, 1.9 TDI (110hp)
It's quite comfortable, but looks boring.
I'm going to buy a set of cheap 17's as summer wheels. I have to say that it desperately needs lows, but that's difficult in my country because we have shitty roads and I have to pay a lot of money for "registering" every suspension (and engine etc.) mod.
