reprogramming two keys help

Hi I have two keys for my 306 roland garos. Recently one stopped working, battery is ok. Went through reprogramming as per manual key now works but other key doesnt. To reprogram the key ,one key must be in ignition and after the process the key in the ignition will not open the doors. Basically reprogram one key the other doesnt work .,so how do you reprogramm two keys. Car is an M reg 1984 and these keys have worked since I bought the car 14 years ago. The key has two plips for entry and imobiliser. Any one else come accross this and how to remedy it Thanks

When you say reprogram, do you mean reprogram for the central locking to work or are you trying to reprogram it to start the car?
