i just picked up a turbo back stainless system second hand for 100 notes so there are some cheaper pro jobs out there
Are you sure that's stainless? Seems suspiciously cheap tbh, the materials alone would total 3/4 of that...
EDIT: Missed the bit about it being second-hand lol. Good deal there fella.

I was watching that bastard, it just dissapeared! Lol
Yeah mate should be fine, I use meguires metal polish as it doesnt eat into the metal, used brasso once, worked really well but then went dodgy after a week or so.

08-02-2013, 12:22 AM

It will mate, looked ok to me anyway!
Oh and go get a down pipe gasket from a motor factors! (Looks like a wire wool circle) I forgot and had to take it off again.
08-02-2013, 11:28 AM
will do, is that between the downpipe and centre pipe?
08-02-2013, 06:11 PM
No, turbo elbow and downpipe.
08-02-2013, 08:30 PM
is that the ferrel on the turbo? surely a decent gasket will work. the flange is a two bolt flange, similar to the centre to backbox flange

i want to get a de-cat and free up the exhast but i dont want uber loudeness i nice rumble/growl is all i want suggestions?
05-08-2013, 07:58 AM
A de-cat pipe and a straight through back box will free up your exhaust. These never get that loud on a standard turbo as the turbo kills most of the noise
