Looking to get some steel wheels for my 5 door moonstone blue hdi, i want them to look good and stand out so it doesn't look trampy and scatty.
What colours do people suggest? I've thought of silver or moonstone blue the same colour as the car so far but have no idea what would look best.
Any suggestions and pics would be appreciated!

If they are just for winter wheels I'd just get some swallows or lazers tbh, they fetch nothing nowadays anyway!

Amusing how swallow alloys normally sell for less than steels haha! Oh how times have changed..
Back on topic, you could always go with something lairy like a kawasaki green?

Haha the scrap man doesn't even want swallows!
You'll struggle to find colours that go well with manstain tbh, just stuck with black, anthracite and silver really.

even just a crap pair of cyclones will look better than steels! Unless theyre banded. Really youd have to get brand new steels if you were going to paint them and wanted them to look mint. In my experience they are always rusty as fook would take a lot of prep to get a good finish!

Best steel wheel would be 4x spare wheels from that cars that came with alloys as they're full circle no holes. As Simon says stick to black, anth and silver.
If its just for winter id just brush paint them!!
A few people say purple goes with moonstone. I found that pink looks move although I never got round to starting the pink on mine.
Moonstone wheels would look too much!

They're not for winter they're just to go on whenever, i've always liked the look of steels. I had a set of 15 inch banded steels on my previous car, my 106 in harvest moon beige and they looks absolutely mint, rusty as fudge when i got them but i prepared them well and they looked better than brand new.
Just want to go for something different as cyclones are way too common now.
I was thinking a set of 15/16 inch steels with low profile tyres and a decent colour would look mint and it's not often someone puts a nice set of steels on the 306

Ok depends what your after if you want them to stand out then bright but it doesn't go with moonstone.
Black IMO doesn't work too boring.
Silver looks good but has to be oem looking silver.
Anthracite is best looking for moonstone.

I was thinking anthracite too, that was an option but I'd want a quite light one not too dark, I think dark wheels look dirty haha. What are the best steel wheels with most dish that will fit a 306?

Aye, white steels do look the dogs charlies, just need to get some haha!
Has anyone got pics of a 306 in moonstone on white wheels of any kind? It'd be great if they were steels but any wheels will do

I'm in the same situation, want some steels to go on my White Rallye. Thinking either anthracite or white GTI6 steels

I've decided to go with black but I'm properly preparing them so they look perfect. I see people just do pity full jobs of sanding and getting rid of rust and it's all uneven. Don't know who's car it is but on here there is a 5door moonstone with black banded steels and they look cool

I love the look of the white steelies and the gun metal grey ones. I've just gone for gloss black, worries when I get the tyres on they'll scuff them

I've just gone for plain gloss black, still need tyres, what size tyres are best for 15 inch partner steels?
