Yet again some f*cking lady garden with no sense of lane discipline has hit my car.
I was overtaking a BMW driving lady garden in the outside lane of a dual carriageway on a right hand bend and he's pulled into my lane without looking to apex the corner causing me to hit him as I just couldn't brake in time and he gave me no space to avoid him.
Typical BMW driver straight out the car shouting about how I was in his lane and got right up in my face. I really wanted to,hit him.

sure you didnt hit another bollard???
Seriously, i know a lot of people will think i am stereotyping here but most bmw drivers are absolute wankers. Its just the sort of people that buy them seem to think there all ways right and the road is theirs. Personally if im in the skoda, i dont give a f*ck if i hit any of them especially if its a filter and your on the right and typically they try their best to squeeze down the left! Hit a few now like that and had arguments with them until ive just screamed the law at them and they soon get back in their cars!

Heh, just to remind people, Dum-Dum is a PCSO so he doesn't have the power to arrest people. But I don't think he's the type to do that sort of thing anyway. It must have been annoying to have that person shouting at you like you were in the wrong. I guess considering your job you had to restrain yourself a lot right there.

It's not just the wing or the bumper it's the hassle and if the other guy blames dumdum he's going to have to fight it in court. Could end up knock for knock

not really its quite clear from the damage to his car and any to the bmw that dumdum was on the right and as we all know (except certain cabbies and nissan almeara drivers....hint hint) that its give way to the right in this country.

I hate this sort of behaviour. I had the usual straightlining of a roundabout when i was home that nearly took my bumper off (i was side by side ffs!! Blew my horn and they blew theirs back, WTF you're in the fecking wrong!!! Why the hell do you think two lanes entered the roundabout!!

I must have missed the celebrations. At least he is one of the nice ones. Unless they have successfully brainwashed him I'll have to check his post history to catch up.

There are so many places round Ipswich where every single time theres a car beside me I end up braking as they can't keep their lane on a slight bend or read the correct road sign on the roundabout!! Obviously I give them a bit of horn and used to coal them the f*ck out, then if I was feeling cuntish Id cut them up just before the next roundabout....yeah I know its bad but 'dilligaf'.
The thing is...I drive an estate...its longer than most hatches/salloons...and if I can make a corner and keep in a lane on a roundabout why do others find it so damn difficult!?
As for people hitting cars.....my mums 12 plate Swift got twatted in a carpark last week, scuffed the white bumper back to the black plastic, same as yours, but she's got no come back as she didn't see who did it so she has gotta spend £100 having the bumper resprayed next week!

At one point I nearly did, seriously thought he was going to hit me and was on the verge of getting Toby out the boot (Toby Four aka the bonnet prop) and after a few minutes of him puffing his chest up and trying to get up in my face despite being 8 inches too short I was quite confident he wasnt.
Ive caved in his rear quater so depending on the age of the car it could be a write off (its on a private plate)

Proper shutter mate. Still goth the other wing spare right? Not in that part of london mate to that type of BMW driver, I would of ended up in a pretty evenly matched fight and I just wasnt in the mood. Off Duty Ill pick my battles.
Sadly the other wing got weighed in.

Just add another one to your tally of arrests lol. Arrest, what for? In relation to the without due care he would of given me his details had I started down the arrest route and thus negated the need. Sadly no law against being a twat and he wasnt specifically threatening.
I did consider trying to process him for without due care and attention but as above I just wasnt in the mood for the fight.
My tally of arrests is substantial anyway, 4 this week in a run of 6 shifts which is pretty good considering I was station officer one day and court another. Nearly arrested someone for offences against S29 of the town and police clauses act of 1847 which amused me.

This was a very specific type of stereotypical BMW driver who comes form the harlesden/stonebridge area, gives his occupation as "import/export" but has never worked a day in his life, spends his spare time doing his arms in the gym so he looks tonk but still has a bit of a gut and tiny legs. I was surprised about the lack of herbal smell but he did make sure to keep the car doors firmly shut when I got near. Typical of that sort of person knows when theyer in the wrong and will scream and shout and try to intimidate to make you admit that your actually wrong and will get more upset until they succeed.

Im used to being shouted at, being told im in the wrong and that apparently people know the law. It mainly goes straight in one ear and right out the other.
He said he was going to call the police and I had to point out to him that at that point it was him refusing to exchange his details so him that was in the wrong and as nobody was injured they wouldnt be coming.

When someone smashed the indicator on my 106 and i almost ended up having a punchup with him because he wouldnt give me his details, the police were going to come out!
on another note, looking at the damage, just needs a new wing. Bumper just needs flatting back and spraying looking at that!

Most of the marks have cleaned off, it was mainly rubber off his back tyre.
The headlight will probably polish, its nearly perfect after a clean. The bumper will clean up with a bit of a polish session and a touch up pen on the bit the paint is missing from. It defo needs a hockey stick and a wing though.

Cheers babe.
Not letting the insurance company write this off, I love it too much. Got 650 miles out of my last tank with a fuel leak and veg.
Im pretty sure insurance are gonna ra*e me as thats 2 accidents in 3 years in very similar circs that are gonna end up settled on a without prejudice basis. Im pretty hopeful that I can prove that its his fault but im not gonna discuss how here in case he/his friends/ his insurance company read this as Id very much like to see it proved that hes lied to his insurance as i doubt hell change his mind now.

dum if the claim goes in your favour, if they try and write it off, providing its only visual damage (if you've cracked or bent the chassis...basically anything safety related!) you have the right to be put back in the position you were in to start with regardless of cost. although they wont tell you that!
