Right im looking into interior swaps to get away from the standard leaf pattern things! Trying to be a little bit different!
In this estate they managed to put in a golf interior? Does anyone know if its fairly close to fitting? I would have thought that the rear seats would need serious modification to fit and it would be very lucky if the fronts fitted on the subframes perfectly!
Also 307 interiors seem to be pretty cheap! Both 306 and 307 (5 doors) bolt into the floor but i presume that they dont share the same bolt locations? Would be conincidental if they did! And if they wont bolt straight in (which they wont) then do you think they will match up and bolt onto the 306 sub frames?
Thanks
Sam

Highly unlikely that they will share the same subframe bolt holes so may be a job for mr welder.
Have you thought about the interior from a Roland Garros or possibly looking on eBay France as I'm sure Peugeot did a high spec interior for some of their limited edition models that were sold to the rest of Europe.
One in particular that springs to mind was the 'Break' ltd edition. Seat covers should be a straight swap if a bit of a nuisance but do-able nonetheless, the biggest issue you may have is the size of the hole in the passenger door card for the window switch as the French one will be drivers side which I think is slightly wider so an adaptor plate may be necessary trimmed in carbon film and it should look fine or try and mount the passenger switch in an old broken drivers switch that all the gubbins has been drilled out of and single switch can be hot melt glue gunned in place

never even heard of that edition before! Can only find one really basic picture but the seats look good! Doubt ill be able to find any and the price of postage would be more than the RX8 seats im looking at!

Not 100% but they're full leather seats iirc and SAMs pic appears to show that too.
Just been searching google and it seems the French got a 1.4 estate Break - lucky them(not)
What I am also aware of is that some of the euro spec cars had heated front seats too - yes please!!!!!!
Who's up for a parts run across the Chanel to France? where we can also find some headlight washers and possibly a few other things our French cousins got on their 306's that us Brits didn't

Basically anything is possible if you have a welder.....
But I remember someone putting a 406 leather interior in. And the heated seats worked

way ahead of you. Im going in the new year with the possibilitly of converting mine to cruise control
The seats will just be welded onto the 306 subframes so be prepared to get the welder out.
And the sport brake was never actually sold. Was only a few built by peugeot as a 'look what we can do' thing!

Dayum, now you've put ideas in my head!
After doing a bit of reading, apparently yuo can use sufficiently sized load spreading washers and/or welded plate for reinforcement, so i've now started looking at interiors too.
And i've not even finished that turbo yet

Volvo C30/S40/V50 interior, some of the nicest seats I've sat in with a good bit of support in the sportier seats...
People need to get creative with the interior on 306s, the exterior modifications are getting better, people are doing more and more interesting things... But the interior as standard is very bland and can be improved so much! I've got so many ideas, but so little time and money!

FU Ruan. I quite like my red and black suede ta very much.
Never realised how easy it would be to fit seats from other makes. And i've found a set for under £100 that fits the bill.
Urgh why is it not the end of the month yet?

Should be plenty of RX8's in the scrapyards! Too many owners not careful enough with keeping an eye on oil levels

How often do you have passengers? Don't worry about it!
I'm sure I'll come to regret saying that in future when I need a lift off you

s'all right. ive got the work whip for when we have to go places like on friday! You wouldnt want to be in the back of my car anyway the way i drive it sometimes. Ask phil!
oh ive just found out the passenger one folds forwards so is ideal for a 3 door. I dont let people in behind my seat anyway because im a lanky prick!

Passenger side one is. Trust me.
And in all fairness, its something i have thought about before a while back but like most of my plans, hasnt happened yet! And now that ive found out they did trim them in a ver similar way to my seats, be rude not to!

right so to the benefit for the resident racist, the rx8 seats (front) are basically exactly the same size bases as the 306 seats. Once ive gone and picked mine up, will do loads of different measurements to show and a guide on how to fit...because im a boss like that!

I can vouch for volvo seats. My dads always had volvos, his 850 had the ultimate comfy seats, and the v50 he has now has kept the comfort but added good support as well.
