There will definitely be 3 or 4 advisories lol....
Anyway, dropped it off now.....gave it a quick thrash this morning (its amazing, you can hit 50 in 2nd after about 10 minutes....), then drove round the block again when I got back as I couldn't leave the milage ending i a 9, the trip reader also ticked over to 306.x as well.

So yeah, I'm expecting a phone call before lunch about it.....

Fair enough lol!
I was gutted about the bulb tbh, I never use sidelights so forget to check them! Nevermind, 90pence to pass was a lot less than it could've been.
He did say though, the front brake hoses need doing asap, so I 'might' WD the nipples and try freeing them off, but I'm not sure I have the confidence to try brake stuff. Nothing was said about the split boot at all, but it has started knocking slightly so might as well just replace the whole shaft with a scrappy one tbh.

Front brakes are normally very easy. Best thing to do is go and buy a proper brake pipe spanner (only about 5 quid from halfrauds) and WD it the day before. It's the rears that are a pain. The nipples are smaller and always seem to snap very easy. Only problem you might have is undoing the hose from the metal pipe in the top of the wheel arch without twisting the metal pipe. WD it and if it starts to twist, just get some mull grips on the base of it and hold it with them and it should undo fine.
