I'm going to be swapping my dturbo arb for a gti one soon,so I need to get the gti bushes. Pretty sure this is all I need for the swap?
Can anyone recommend any particular ones? I can't find any on the net apart from the cheap non branded eBay ones. If there aren't any good uprated ones about I will most likely get them straight from Peugeot.
Thanks, Ben

Yeah I'm going to try and change a lot of the suspension all at the same time. Anyone know the best place to get the meyle HD wishbones? And any suggestions for other good suspension parts I may want to change?

Just the thread I was looking for, sorry to jump in but, does anyone know what size the bushes are on a 2000 gti6? The bloke at the motor factors says there is a choice from 17mm, 18mm, 19mm and 21mm? Cheers chaps

Another thing about this, a gti is the best spec handling peugeot put out in the 306,so the bigger the ARB the better, soooooooooo out of the 3 this would mean 21mm right?
This is how i worked it out any way lol

Yea that's seems pretty logical to be fair ha, just seemed strange that the bloke in the the motor factors couldn't get the info. I also had a look on eurocarparts and they give different sizes to choose from using my reg number

Puglove - I hope its as good a difference as you say, and I'll be changing it with the engine out so I'm assuming it'l be incredibly easy!

Just drop the back down and leave it on the front bolts (just slacken them off), you can get them in and out like that.

Or, put the angle grinder through one side, take it out in two halves, put it in the bin, and buy some stiffer springs.

Ben.
Yes mate massive improvment. Iv also done. Gti front & rear shocks, aswell as gti front & rear ARB's and im telling you it was worth every bit of effort and time. If you are taking the lump out it will be a peice of pie. As you will be able to drop the sub framr to the floor and do it.

I've got a Gti rear beam, and I have bought some Gti front shocks for the front, but that was over 5 weeks ago and I still don't have them so trying to get my money back! I'm sure I'll manage to get something soon. Yeah I'm hoping it'll be easy as pie, I've had the ARB months but thought I'd wait til the engines out to save the hassle!
