So I tried to do the stage 1 tune with the lucas pump, but one thing lead to another and now basically I can't fix it without help from someone with more experience.
The car is undriveable as I have lost the plastic max fuel bolt cover inside the engine somewhere.

I also need to do a cam belt change (I have bought the belt and pump) but I don't think I have the knowledge to do it myself.

Is there anyone nearby who can give me a hand with this please? (of course I will pay you for your time)

I need the car before saturday and I feel like a right idiot now

		Where in Bucks are you?

In all honesty if you're doing a cambelt change and you're having problems with the lucas, it may even be worth just doing a conversion to the bosch pump at the same time?

You can get replacement caps, not necessarily the metal style one. Fozzy has a plastic screw cap that makes it much easier to undo rather than keep hammering away at it. PM him as I don't know where he got it from.

Told you it was a bitch to do. Contact krisB as I said get him to get his mate to collect the car and let him do the pump conversion, cam belt and suspension.

I know you have the means to get this done mate.

I may have a metal cap going spare, but I also think it may be incorrect. I'd just grab another from a scrappy at least to get the car running. Or if you've cracked yours then maybe try melting it back together.

I can also do you cambelt and waterpump, £100 labour and can do it asap but you'll need to get the car over to me, and can do before saturday.

I'd say I could get someone to collect the car but his truck is currently un-taxed.

If you need me, PM me or email thru my website.

Yeah, I chipped the area where the cap screws into with a chisel, it's leaking from where the chip is.
