Modified Madness Team GB Tunnel Run...
Who's up for?
so far going is around 250 people on the Facebook group alone :-)
THE PLAN
meet at ADSA'S in bedhampton @ 18:00
Larchwood Avenue, Bedhampton, Havant PO9 3QW
we will leave ASDA @ 19:00 to a second convoy point just before the tunnel, @ shell garage, Liphook By-pass, Town Centre, Liphook GU30 7TT
to re group and set up cameras and videos we will arive at approx 19:30 for those who want 2 meet there
then on to the hindhead tunnel where we will make a few passes with pro photographers 2 take pics and videos :-)
THE AIM
would be to get a group of like-minded people together; namely people who have petrol pulsing through their veins and drive a nice loud car, preferably with 6 or more cylinders. This procession of horsepower would make it's way to the tunnel and proceed to christen the longest tunneled road in the UK with the sound of 5000 cylinders.
End place is either Guilford Sainsbury or back at asda bedhampton
Aparently covered by a couple magazines
Also forgot to mention its in aid of McMillan cancer support so bring yet spare chnage

Yeah I'd be up for this! My 6 sounds awesome through Hindhead tunnel!! Are we planning our own 306 mini meet in Asda? Obviously there will be a lot of other cars there, but would be good if we could also convoy through the tunnel?!

I went to the last one in my Golf.. worked through the night to get a new clutch fitted to it, and it was an excellent day!! Apart from the Police gate crashing!! Porbably wont make this one tho!
