Breaking: Srowells P3 Diablo 5 Door 1.4

CAR IS BEING SCRAPPED AT THE END OF THE WEEK!


Hey guys seeing as the car failed its MOT and I have the 1.8 now im breaking the 1.4 before scrapping it. Its a 5 Door 1999 Phase 3 with 86k on the clocks. Failed MOT on leaking head gasket, leaking oil sump, leaking brake lines and failed the emissions. If anyone can make a reasonable offer for it as a whole then they are welcome.

Body work is mint with a little bit of rust on bottom edge of the boot lid, lacquer peel on the front bumper and a mark where i accidently got brake fluid on the drivers wing when topping up brake fluid at night

Still at the garage to driving it back today and then starting to break. Im planning on stripping interior items soon and body parts ill get off once it gets to the scrappers. Thats the plan anyway...

Anything like mine the only wire that needed doing was the halo rings but I think Sam already did it

Yep the clock is a P3 clock with the temperature. Picture of connections below.

Its currently on the car but ill try and get it off tomorrow and look into postage as well. I got it off a pugnet member last year and it was folded to fit in the post etc. As such it has a slight split in the middle on the top edge but thats the part that is fitted up to the bottom of the bumper so it isn't noticeable once fitted. Here is a pic of it fitted.

All clips are there and they are a straight fit. I think i rewired them and did it properly with solder and heatshrink. They were dirty inside so i took them apart and put them back together after cleaning them out. Also when i got them some bulbs were missing and they were yellow but I have replaced them now and they are white! They have the 3 leds down the side of each unit which are the normal T10 leds. Some are original but 2 or 3 were replaced with ones that dont quite fit as I couldnt find any of the square ones needed :/ I would have thought if you got some decent SMD T10s they would fit and work really well! I think there is some slight peeling on the lenses but its difficult to notice and i never found a solution to it :/ Maybe Ill try a bit of 1200 on it and see if that improves the finish. I am way to honest haha!

Umm ginge who are the clocks for? As if they're for you im pretty sure they won't fit your car, it being ph3 and petrol

the plugs are the same and my current clock come from a phase 2... but its brokened., the plugs are the same time as are the centre consoles

its a clock you pleb - it tells the time, whether its petrol or diesel, im sure the time is the same in all dimensions?

Sorry mate there is only the standard clarion radio. I do however have two of the radio surrounds needed for installing after market headunits :-)

Stripped out a lot of the interior plastics today. See anything you want then just ask!







and the components. They arent very good but they are a bit better than stock...



Ideally you could use them with the parcel shelf to fill the tweeter holes in there so parcel shelf and components £20 collected!

Ive also checked and ive got 2x silver centre dashs! And i found another clock and fitted LED T5 bulbs too it so its working very nicely now!

bad quality I think. I replaced them with my fli comp6s and it was a massive improvement

Raining and hail today so ill get it off tomorrow and then see how i can package it up! If it falls under standard parcels at £4.41 which i cant see why it wouldnt if its folded in half (under 1.5m) and under 2kg then it should be £19.41 posted.
