Just a heads up for those that don't have a Costco or similar card, Asda are doing 15L drums of KTC veg oil for £14, or 93.3p/L

I know where i'm off to tomorrow Smile

Bookers do a constant 20L for £18.75, whatever that works out as... cheaper than diesel, i know that much..

I work for take away so I can get 20l for about £18-17. Or I can just go round local takeaways which all know me well enough for me to empty their fryers for free Smile every other week Smile

If you're running a bosch, yes!

Maybe go for a 50/50 mix to start, the way I see it is even if you only put in a litre of veg into a tankful, your saving money. So a couple of gallons to a tank, then just keep pouring it in when you can/want to, if you don't have veg, stick some diesel in!

yeh it's all good; i once ran 20L rapeseed, the rest was mixed of veg, sunflower and diesel; job done!

40mpg, only ever got 40mpg whether it's Lucas, bosch, veg, diesel, mixture, etc.

I've experienced around 10% ish drop in mpg when on veg oil.

Also tesco is at 90ppl

I think you are all missing the point, he asked for 'veg prices' and all you lot are on about vegetable oil Huh

Baby brocoli is about £1.20
Cauliflour about 75p
Carrots about 80p/kg
Parsnips 1.70/kg
Carving pumpkin about £1.50

supplier in london can do wvo filtered to 75microns for 55p a litre, min collection of 100litres
