Or, in your case, find something else to moan about.

I think you need to swap a few parts with a mates HDi like the rail pressure sensor, regulator, cam sensor etc. Not making a lot of sense - i trust you've retraced your steps?

Yeah steps have been retraced. Home recovery guy has been. First thing he plugged it in got egr and tried to tell me it's egr valve stopping it. To which i replied egr wouldn't stop it from starting as my old car was blocked and still ran perfect! Also the egr has been blocked off on the pug for months and if that was the cause it would of stopped months ago. I asked him if he thinks it could be a fueling problem he took pipe of filter housing and ended up covering my windscreen in diesel! Then we primed it up and he heared a hissing sound from the first Injector. So tomorrow got to check injector pipes are tight and new seals.

That's a shame, i'm sure it'll be something simple. Get it recovered to Mechanical Repairs in Leicester?

I've spent too much on it people. Time to break even with it. Either buying a bora or a phase 1 dturbo to strip and track slag.

No cos I can get more money breaking it. I've always liked boras. Going to buy a temp banger and go back to my takeaway job for a few weeks while I'm breaking pug to get some quick money. Save about a grand.
