Haha fair one, you'll fix this one though, right? Please?
Not even going there on the wasting money thing, reckon it's probably got more to do with a smart three bed semi approaching the half a mil mark...

Yeah definitely. Well probably. More than likely at least.
On a completely unrelated subject, anyone got any cable ties?

It was hard to see when I was bodging it because it was dark, but where the centre joins the back section theres a peg above (that I hooked the bungee round) but no peg on the exhaust. I think it might have snapped off possibly. I'm gonna have a look this weekend and maybe fire up the MIG.

So, tried the caravan out on it. Tows well, very stable with no rocking or snaking, and plenty of power, was worried that the 90 would struggle but with such a light caravan (670kg unladen) it doesn't even really notice the weight until you get to 50-55mph and then the wind resistance kicks it, but it's still ok.
Only issue is the left indicator doesn't work through the towing socket, so I'll try some contact cleaner on the plug and if that doesn't work I'll get an auto electrician to look at it.

£450 with almost everything needed to go away, water tanks, cutlery, cups and glasses, electric leads, water pump, only needed an awning.

Thanks mate, didn't know you were on here.
Would have loved the Disco but with my license even this caravan would have been too heavy. Seems daft that VOSA would rather I used this 406 than a V8 Disco to tow...

Ye Iv got an xud in my sj and have done a couple more 4x4's with them and this site has helped quite a lot. Plus it's a good busy site!
Ye it's really daft isn't it, to be honest Iv only got same licence as you but Iv researched high and low and I think Iv got a strong arguement if I ever get caught. Plus my van doesn't have a readable weight plate so I might remake it on a diet!

I'm past caring about fashion with cars mate. Doesn't matter to me whether its a grandad car, I'm not so insecure that other people's opinions matter.
I'd have rather had an XUD to be honest but all the good ones were overpriced because of the "OMG veg oil" tax.
Turns out the AC works too!

I have never been the one to care what set of wheels I own, or even care what peoples opinions on it are, as long as it got me to from A to B and back again, that's all that matters. I still follow that rule to this day!

That's because you've got a penchant for buying the shittest cars the current market has to offer, bless you.
Liam, your car makes you an old man that can't drive properly and will damage many cars at garden centres. You lady garden. Now go and cry in the corner.
