The part numbers for an HDi & the larger petrol engine versions aren't the same. As has been previously suggested though, I think it's just the size of the pulleys that differs (presumably to account for the different speeds the engines generally run at).
What are the symptoms of your steering btw? Pump more likely to be failure point I think, but sometimes that's because a leak has occurred at the rack end. Both can potentially be refurbished by a power steering specialist.
