I know there's a few other people interested in this, so thought i may as well put a thread up. We will be going to see the BTCC at Brands Hatch towards the end of October, this is the season finale so tensions are usually running pretty high, making for a rather entertaining day's racing.
Prices:
Tickets are available from £25 for the day if you pre-book, or £31 for the whole weekend. Pretty fantastic value, i think, especially when you consider all the supporting features. Grandstand seats for the Sunday (main BTCC race day) can be booked for prices ranging from £7 - £15.

Camping:
Camping is £16pp for the weekend. Gates open at 12pm Friday and we have to be out by 12pm Monday. There's the usual facilities, but obviously they're limited and we'll be sharing them with a few hundred other people, they also close the facilities at midnight on Sunday, so won't be able to shower/poo on Monday morning if we're staying that night too. It's a family event and there will be security present.
Entertainment:
Saturday is mostly made up of qualifying and practice sessions, with a couple of support feature races chucked in towards the end for good measure.
Sunday is race day, BTCC races usually run at about 12:00, 14:30 and 17:00. There will also be races for all of the supporting race features, including:
There is usually a "disco" of some sort on Saturday evening, but even if that's a bit weak i daresay the usual camping shenanigans will be enough to keep us all entertained.
