plenty of area to smash a sacrificial 12 point socket onto that type of bolt, do the other 3 up to torque will help also.
smashy smashy!! 9/16 rings a bell. I have also managed to drill the heads off locking wheel bolts.
need a part number? http://public.servicebox.peugeot.com/ and http://service.citroen.com/ will sort you out.
