The inertia switch reset (under the bonnet) is just a 2 pin switch, it can be tested with a multimeter or bypassed with a jumper wire (pins 1 & 3 on the plug I beleive, check the terminals on the switch to be sure). I'm not sure about the inertia switch itself.
