Well as the cabby has got a bit too pricey to run I have bought a very cheap hdi estate!
For the grand total of £210 I've got a 2001 hdi lx! With half a tank of red diesel (we'll get to that in a min!)
The issue is that the car will start and idle for a moment but then cut out. If the engine is rev'd it will cut out immediately.
The fuel pump is priming and turning off as it should although it does seem to stop first when the engine cuts off (but this may be the ecu cutting the fuel)
Also when the engine cuts out sometimes it will not restart unless the key is taken out and put back in.
The fault code is P0230
