I know this was suggested on .net but wasn't bothered with because it would take work away from traders but seeing as we don't have traders I can't see the problem with it!
Thought it might be a good idea to get a list of members who are willing to help others with works on there cars.
This is not intended as a way for members to make money. It's purely as a way to help other members. If members want to thank you with money then that's their choice but I know I would be happy with a cup of coffee....

important Note
The work that is done by users does not carry a warranty. The whole point of this is enthusiasts helping others that might not be so confident in doing certain works them selfs. People who do these works professionally may offer warranties however most users do not have any insurances so if something does go wrong, this lies between you and the user helping you and does NOT involve the club.

London and South East
Username: Niallharper
Area: Surrey and London
Tools available: most workshop tools including Peugeot planet. Also have a machine polisher
Works I can help with: most workshop services including diagnostics, ecu reprogramming, key reprogramming. Mostly petrol work but will try with diesels! Will do servicing, and pretty much everything (except for cambelts!) can also do machine polishing and detailing.

Area: Heathrow
Tools available: Most workshop tools (a full roll cab that is taller than I am), service book stamp, arch roller (charge for use of arch roller)
Works I can help with: most mechanical, minor fabrication, XU engine rebuilds, HDi FMIC installs.

Username: Grant
Area: Surrey, Epsom
Tools available: Most workshop tools, sthil ts400, have acces to a 1.5 ton excavator and a kettle.
Can help with: Front end suspension removal and refitting including top mounts, replacement of body panels, wheel refurbing, wiring/soldering, all basic servicing and coffee making duties.

Area: Kingston [South East and South East London}
Tools Available: most tools needed for any 306, plus grinder, hammers, scaffold poles for extending those breaker bars, small mig welder [tho im not very good, has been a while] and ramps, jack, stands.
Work I can help with: I'll help out with pretty much anything, can usually figure it out along the way [aslong as i dont get too blinded by rage lol], but otherwise, basic service stuff for XUD, suspension stuff, brake stuff etc. also willing to just be an extra pair of hands as and when required.

Work I can help with: mainly xud work but dont mind helping on others, can do bosch conversions, cambelt/waterpump changes, rear beam changing, pretty much anything and not scared to get my hands dirty

Tools: most you can think of, mig welder, 3ton Jack. 6ton axel stands, 4 years of sockets spanners and so on, torx sockets male and female. Also diagnosis avaliable

East Anglia

Tools available: Halfords advanced tool kit.. haha & a load of basic workshop tools. Machine polisher (oo-er), ramps & some garage space.
Works I can help with: Most general car maintenance including servicing, I've done a few bits of bodywork inc the usual 306 rusty sunroof patch repairs. Dont mind giving anyone a hand & can always offer lifts places etc.

Services: Full mechanical services, will do modification work. Expert in shouting at broken HDi's, general diesel freak. Persistent bugger, love scrap yard visits.

Tools available: pretty much most stuff, slide hammers, ratchets, spanners, air guns, if needed and i ask my boss i can do 4 wheel alligniment and tracking for a fee, 3 ton jack and axle stands torx screwdrivers and few special tools that come in handy.
Works I can help with: well my job is a panel beater/strip fitter/ mechanic, so main job is fixing crashed cars, doing all aspects of suspension, i can strip a car down to a bare shell, and build it back up again, enines in and out, a lot is a bit specialised but i can do it, bleed brakes, and ive also lowerd my own car so i know how to do that.

Same as Darren really, if it runs on heavy oil and doesn't suck, I can usually do something with it. I can just about bear petrols if I have to, so ask away.
